Facts and Stats
Paddock Lake
- 128 sq acres
- Max Depth is 32 ft
- Average Depth is 11 ft
Paddock Lake has been known for its turtle population for decades. The last few years we have noticed more turtles coming out of the channel, on the south shore, to nest.
They normally would nest on the island but since that is sinking they are running out of a "Dry" nesting area.
The turtles nest from the late April to the end of June.
Here is a link from the Wisconsin DNR with some great information on Wisconsin Turtles and how to protect them during this time period.
Please keep a vigilant eye for turtles when riding in your golf carts.
