SPECIAL ANNOUNCEMENTS!!
THIS SUNDAY’S (9/14/25) PHLA BOARD MEETING HAS BEEN CANCELLED. MEETINGS WILL RESUME IN MAY OF 2026.
ATTENTION MEMBERS WITH CHANNEL PIERS…
The Village has just informed us that they plan to do some additional weed trimming in the channel on Tuesday July 22, 2025. They’ve indicated that it will be helpful if boat owners are able to remove their boats from their piers that day. DOING THIS IS VOLUNTARY. We realize that removing your boat is no small task and that many will not be able to accomodate the Village’s request. However, since the Village is willing to put in extra effort at wead trimming around the channel docks – the least we could do is pass along their request.
PHLA REMINDER TO ALL DOCK USERS
PHLA REMINDER TO ALL DOCK USERS: When tying your boat to your dock, please secure it so it can not rub up against the shoreline. There has been significant shoreline erosion over the years and keeping boats from rubbing/bumping against the shore while docked is one way to reduce the erosion. Thanks!
